San Francisco, Bay Area, CA – In support of multiple client training programs, ID360 is accepting applications for qualified trainers to deliver educational programs for local government staff and industry professionals in California. We are inviting qualified professionals to apply for our Trainer Bench for a paid contract opportunity. This is an engagement to contribute your expertise to a growing statewide effort focused on advancing energy efficiency knowledge among building professionals, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
We are seeking trainers with demonstrated expertise in California energy codes, operations & maintenance systems, and financing programs, across one or more of the following areas:
Energy Codes and Standards:
Trainers who can deliver clear, practical instruction on current and evolving California energy code requirements, helping participants understand compliance pathways and implementation strategies.
Operations and Maintenance of Energy Efficient Equipment for Public Sector Buildings:
Professionals (Heat Pump Water Heaters, Heat Pump Space Heaters, Solar PV + Battery) with hands-on experience in the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of energy efficient systems and equipment in municipal and/or other public sector facilities.
Public Sector Energy Finance:
Specialists who can guide public sector participants through California financing mechanisms, incentive programs, and the financial considerations tied to energy efficiency projects in municipal and government buildings.
Selected trainers will join a bench of qualified professionals available to support training sessions across multiple training programs funded through the CPUC, contributing to a consistent and high-quality educational experience for participants throughout California.

Early applications are strongly encouraged. Initial selection will close on August 28, 2026, giving priority consideration to those who apply before this date. Applications received after the initial selection date will continue to be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis, so interested professionals are welcome to apply at any time.
